The family of Lawrence Warunge has appealed to the court not to release him on bail. This is after he allegedly threatened to kill his remaining family members.
The story of Lawrence Warunge shocked the country in January 2021, when he reportedly killed his four family members and a farmhand at their home in Kiambaa, Kiambu County.
In a written submission to the court, the family say that even from prison he has threatened to kill the remaining family members. They further alleged that he had promised to kill his two sisters who were in school at the time he killed their father, mother, brother, and cousin.
The family filed the petition through their lawyer Ndindi & Nadida Advocates.
