Deputy President William Ruto's aide Reuben Kiborek has cried foul over his recent defeat in the Mogotio constituency race.
This was after the incumbent MP Daniel Tuitoek was announced the winner and party's flagbearer in the Mogotio constituency.
Through his Facebook page, one of the Digital Strategists in Ruto's office claimed that his victory has been robbed of him and given to his competitor Tuitoek. The youthful aspirant promised to issue a statement to his supporters and give them a way forward thereafter.

Kiborek's defeat comes after two days of a standoff between him and the incumbent Tuitoek at a tallying center in Kabarnet with each blaming the other for alleged voter theft and malpractices. At one time, chaos erupted at the center, forcing the CRO to halt the tallying process
At one time, Ruto's aide had expressed optimism that he had won the nominations and even started receiving congratulatory messages from a number of Kenyans and leaders.
However, this was brought to an end on Saturday after Tuitoek, who will be seeking his second term in August, was announced the final winner.
The Sitting MP who had stiff competition from the youthful aspirant Kiborek was on Saturday morning awarded the certificate alongside MCA nominees Sialo Kimiring (Mogotio Ward), Purity Tallam (Emining Ward) and Jacob Cheboiwo (Kisanana Ward) at the County Central Tallying Centre in Kabarnet.
