Jubilee candidate Polycarp Igathe has received a major boost in his quest to become the next Governor of Nairobi County.
This is after Nairobi Governor Ann Kananu dropped out of the race and vowed to back Igathe as well as lead his campaigns in Nairobi County.
Governor Kananu also urged all other parties in the Azimio one Kenya Alliance to support Igathe's bid.

Former Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko also endorsed Polycarp's bid on Tuesday.
"Igathe you have my support. Anytime uniite twende ground," Sonko stated.
This comes days after Raila Odinga and Kalonzo Musyoka unveiled the Azimio line-up for Nairobi county.
"The Nairobi governor candidate is going to be Mr. Polycarp Igathe. He will be deputised by professor Kaloki. The senator candidate will be Edwin Sifuna.
"Tim has agreed to shelve his Nairobi gubernatorial bid and will defend his Westlands National Assembly seat," the former Prime Minister announced.
