Azimio la Umoja One Kenya presidential running mate Martha Karua has warned Nairobi gubernatorial aspirant Polycarp Igathe of consequences if he fails to perform if elected in the August polls.
Addressing a rally in Nairobi County on Sunday, July 17, Karua told Igathe that he would face Raila Odinga's whip if he failed to deliver given a chance by the electorate.
The Narc Kenya party leader urged Igathe to deal with the garbage and water issue in Nairobi.
"Igathe hawa watu wakikupatia kura zao uwe Gavana wa Nairobi, hatutaki kuja hapa kuona taka tena, tunataka ufanye mpango, wale wanaishi hapa unaona wamejaribu wako na nyumba zao nzuri za kuishi, lakini mazingiria ni duni. Na Igathe nikwambie, Ukikosa kufanya hio kazi, kiboko ya baba itakupata," Karua told Igathe during the rally.
At the same time, Karua stated that the Azimio government would deal with corruption and deliver to the people of Kenya if elected in August.
