Former Ainabkoi MP William Chepkut will be laid to rest on October 18, 2022, his funeral committee has announced.
The funeral service for his final journey will be held at Kapsundei Primary school before proceeding for burial at his home.
The committee has also announced that Requiem mass will be held in Nairobi on Friday, October 14 at AIC Milimani after which the body will be taken to his rural home.
A major Harambee to raise funds to support his burial will be held on Thursday this week in AIC Milimani Nairobi.
Another one will be held on Saturday at Eldoret Wagon Wheel Hotel and on Sunday at his home in Kapsundei.

His body will arrive in Eldoret on Monday, October 17, at 10am for a community farewell service before the main funeral service on Tuesday.
He breathed his last Saturday morning, the family confirmed.
Family sources say he collapsed in his house and was rushed to Mediheal hospital parklands where he was pronounced dead.
He has been unwell for some time and was admitted to the hospital between late last year and early this year.
The former MP served the constituency between 2017 to 2022. He was elected as an independent candidate.
In 2022, his bid to defend the seat as an Independent candidate again flopped.
He lost to Samwel Chepkonga of UDA party.
Chepkut served as the personal assistant of the late Nicholas Biwott, who was a powerful minister during the late President Daniel Moi's tenure and later ventured into politics.
