The National Assembly’s Committee on Appointments has commenced vetting Musalia Mudavadi for the position of Prime Cabinet Secretary on Monday, October 17.
Musalia Mudavadi was put on the spotlight regarding a variety of issues including his office being located at the Kenya Railway Headquarters.
The former Amani National Congress (ANC) leader mentioned that he was happy with the office location adding that he would see Kenyans who voted for them into office every morning and evening.
"I'm happy with Kenya Railways as an office, Kenyans who voted for us are there every morning & evening & it is a constant reminder to me that we should not let them down but work hard on their behalf," he told the vetting committee.

During the vetting by the 15-member committee, Mudavadi said that was worth Ksh 4 billion.
“If I take my investments in shares in some companies and also the properties that I own, I will put my net worth at Sh4 billion,” Mudavadi stated.

The nominee for the Prime Cabinet Secretary position also clarified that he did not grab property at the Woodley estate.
"It is in Woodley estate. It's a property that belongs to the County Government of Nairobi. I stayed in Woodley and our family has always had that property and I want to put it correctly here that to this day, we pay rent to the county Government of Nairobi," Mudavadi said.
