ODM party has said it has not completed the process of nominating anyone to the East African Legislative Assembly.
The Party released a statement Wednesday evening saying the process is in progress.
"To all party members of ODM, Azimio la Umoja Coalition & the general public, this is to inform you that the party has not made any communication regarding her nominees to EALA. Parliament has set the pace for the process & we shall in due course make the official communication," The party tweeted.
The clarification by the party comes hot on the heels of reports that the ODM Party has fronted Winnie Odinga for the seat.
Winnie Odinga is the daughter of ODM party leader Raila Odinga.

The scion trended on Twitter Wednesday as Kenyans from all walks of life discussed her alleged appointment.
She, however, released a statement clarifying that she had not received any nomination to EALA.
Winnie faulted an incoming Cabinet secretary she did not mention by name for the onslaught against her of the EALA appointment.
"We say to girls: You can have ambition, but not too much. You should aim to be successful but not too successful, otherwise, you will threaten the man," he said.
"I have not applied for Eala nor has any official comms come from the party. Just a disgruntled incoming CS bothered by the girl."
