Controversial Lawyer Miguna Miguna has warned Twitter owner Elon Musk of dire consequences for charging fo a blue verification badge.
In a tweet on Wednesday, Miguna accused the Twitter boss of being corrupt threatening that tweeps will be forced to exit his platform if he continues.
According to Miguna, the owner is too rich to demand payment for the verification exercise.
"Mr. @elonmusk: You don’t need the money. Greed is one of the worst sins. Stop exploiting Twitter users. If you persist, we will ORGANIZE a mass exodus from Twitter and turn your “investment” into a nightmare! Continue pushing us!!" He tweeted.
Earlier, Musk had planned to charge Sh2,429 ($20) but reviewed the plans downwards after complaints from users.

He added:
"Price adjusted by country proportionate to purchasing power parity."
The entrepreneur added that the subscribers will enjoy priorities in replies, mentions and searches, which he added was essential to defeat spam/scams.
They will also be able to post long videos and audio and get half as many adverts.
The tycoon said there will also be a secondary tag below the name for someone who is a public figure, which is already the case for politicians.
"And paywall bypass for publishers willing to work with us," Musk said.
He added that the subscription will be a source of revenue stream for Twitter, making it possible to reward content creators.
