Former Ugandan presidential candidate Robert Kyagulanyi, popularly known as Bobi Wine, on Tuesday, November 8, asked Kenyans to be vigilant and defend their constitution.
This is after Fafi MP Salah Yakub alleged that there was a plan by some United Democratic Alliance (UDA) MPs to scrap the term limits for the President.
In a statement on Tuesday, Bobi said said that Kenyans should be alert, claiming that it was how things started in Uganda until the presidential term limit was scrapped.
"Dear Kenyans, be vigilant. Save your country from Musevenism. This may come off as a lone MP making a ridiculous suggestion, but this is how it starts. Defend your Constitution before it's too weak to defend you!" Bobi Wine tweeted.

However, reacting to the remarks by Takub, UDA threw the lawmaker under the bus terming the sentiments as 'a product of a fertile imagination'.
The President William Ruto-led party stated that it had not been in discussions to extend the president's term limit maintaining that it was focused on implementing its agenda for Kenyans.
"Remarks by Fafi MP Salah Yakub that there are plans to extend term limits for the President are a product of a fertile imagination by the legislator. UDA distances itself from the utterances by the MP.
"The Party has not been part of discussions in regard to term limits. The Party is busy implementing the The Plan and will not be part of sideshows," UDA tweeted on Tuesday.
