Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has refuted claims that he has differences with Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi.
Speaking on Saturday, April 1 during a thanksgiving church event in Malava, Kakamega County, Gachagua accused the media of creating a false narrative about the Kenya Kwanza government.
The Second in Command revealed that he and Mudavadi come a long way and are inseparable.
“The media thinks that our government can have cracks. They are the ones behind that I have differences with Mudavadi.
"Musalia and I have come a long way, when I was personal assistant to retired President Uhuru Kenyatta and he was his vice presidential nominee, we worked together. I have eaten food in his house many times, I have spent many nights there, sisi ni kama chanda na pete,” he said.

At the same time, Gachagua dismissed having issues with Kithure Kindiki as alleged in various reports after the Interior CS skipped a security meeting held at his office last week.
“I had meeting on Sunday with our security chiefs and professor Kindiki we had sent him to north rift to deal with bandits and he was not able to come to the meeting. The media is now trying to create a narrative that there is a problem between us,” Gachagua explained.
