Lawyer Miguna Miguna was on Monday, May 15 heckled by a gathering during a funeral in Oyugis, Homabay County after he attacked Azimio la Umoja leader Raila Odinga.
Addressing the mourners, Miguna accused the former Prime Minister of denying the Nyanza people the fruits of independence.
"We fought for multiparty democracy. The reason why we fought for multiparty democracy is so that everyone in Kenya can enjoy the fruits of independence. But right now, the people of Nyanza are not enjoying the fruits of independence because of one man called Raila Odinga. I have said it,” said Miguna.
In a video seen by Nairobileo.co.ke, Miguna walked out of the funeral as the mourners heckled him for opposing Raila.
