Nairobi Women Representative Esther Passaris now says she is not worried about the 2027 general election after voting for the Finance Bill 2023.
In a statement via Twitter on Thursday, June 22, Passaris stated that leadership is in God’s hands and that she is blessed.
“The irony of telling “Mama Taa ni giza utaona 2027”. Now let’s get serious. I wish you well. You on the other hand are making statements oblivious of the fact that leadership is in God’s hands. I worry not. I am blessed,” Passaris stated.
The Nairobi Women Rep was responding to a Twitter user who told her she will struggle in the 2027 general election.

Passaris earlier dismissed claims that she has been pocketed by President William Ruto despite being elected on an ODM Party ticket.
"When you get bought let me know how it feels. Raila Odinga need never apologise ( to you who didn’t vote). In me, Baba has a leader who is steadfast and can make tough decisions when called to do so. I attest to Baba's vision of zero tolerance to tribalism," Passaris told a tweep by the name of Emmanu Munga who accused her of being bought.
Passaris has been on the spot in the past week over her stand on the Finance Bill which is against that of Azimio la Umoja leader Raila Odinga.
