Lawyer Miguna Miguna has sensationally stated that Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua needs comprehensive lessons in communication.
This comes after DP Gachagua said in an interview on Friday 6 October that he works like a hyena.
“I beg all of us in this government to work hard. Up our game and not shame ourselves as a community. I lead by example. I work like a hyena. Let Mt Kenya people in public service work like hyenas,” said Gachagua.
Miguna, while reacting to the statement, noted that hyenas are not known to be hardworking in Africa.
The vocal lawyer pointed out that the DP should have instead used bees and ants to symbolise hard work.

“African allegories have hyenas as characters who symbolize gluttony and wanton stupidity. The things which symbolize hard work and teamwork are bees and ants. My friend, Riggy G, needs comprehensive lessons in communication,” Miguna stated.
In the Friday interview, Gachagua also observed that his relationship with President William Ruto is as strong as ever and they talk on a daily basis.
“President William Ruto and I are joined at the hip. We talk on a daily basis. My relationship with the President is top-notch. He has mandated me with a great responsibility because he understands my output,” the DP explained.
The second in command also downplayed reports of divisions in Mt Kenya saying the region is peaceful and united as before.
“I will lead from the front in ensuring that the leadership of the mountain continues holding together and will bring on board every leader from the region,” he added.
