Drama ensued on Saturday, October 7 during the burial of former Pwani FM presenter Sammy Ambari after Kilifi Women Representative Gertrude Mbeyu was involved in a confrontation with Matsangoni MCA Hassan Mohammed.
The incident started after the MCA approached Mbeyu, who was addressing the mourners, to give her a chance to speak.
However, the Kilifi Women Rep taunted Mohammed, who was standing next to her, and ordered him to sit down and wait for his turn to address the mourners.
“Leave me alone Hassan this is my home… have you seen how I look, are you competing with me on dressing? Go and sit as I speak,” Mbeyu told the MCA.

Mohammed, who was offended by Mbeyu's remarks, signalled that there was no time and tried to grab the microphone from the Kilifi women's representative.
However, Mbeyu's security moved quickly and grabbed the Matsangoni MCA and pulled him away from the Kilifi Women Rep.
Some of the mourners rushed to protect Mohammed from further manhandling by Mbeyu's bodyguards.
The burial emcee tried to restore order by calling on the mourners who had surrounded the scene to return to their seats.
