Embakasi East MP Babu Owino has denied authoring the exam paper.

A class eight mathematics exam paper question has gone viral on social media after it featured the names "Chebukati" and "Koome".

The two names are popular with three influential personalities in Kenya including IEBC Chair Wafula Chebukati, Chief Justice Martha Koome and The new Inspector General of Police Japhet Koome.

The question paper only used a single name, one could hardly conclude that the person targeted was the CJ or the IEBC chair.

"Chebukati and Koome were given Sh815,000 to share in the ratio 2:3 respectively. How much did Koome get?" the question reads in part.

But in a rejoinder to a buzz, the question has generated on social media, Embakasi East MP Babu Owino has denied authoring the exam paper.

"I want to state categorically that I’m not the one who set these questions as opined by my unworthy opponents who are trying to soil my otherwise good name," Babu Owino wrote on Facebook.

The question paper has gone viral on social media with a section of users linking it to the CJ while others to the IEBC boss.

The paper emerge months after the General elections whose results were protested by the member of the Azimio Coalition that lost.

Azimio also faulted the IEBC chair and Koome for playing a hand in snatching them their victory.
