Former Chair of Kenya Tourism Federation Mohammed Hersi announced that Dr Odour deserved some time alone with his family following the harrowing experience in conducting the autopsy on the body of the 20-year-old who was found dumped in Roysambu.
Hersi, the veteran hotelier heaped praise on the government pathologist noting that he has managed to remain professional despite the experiences in determining the causes of death of various people in the country.
According to Hersi, the pathologist deserves to unwind for his endearing work.
"He is not in this for the money. Late Waeni's case has traumatised him and he deserves a break with his better half. If you know him, he has a weekend at Salt Lick Lodge to relax and unwind. Dr Oduor you deserve it," Hersi explained.
"Will pick you up from the train Madaraka Express station station at Voi and you get to experience the most photographed lodge in Kenya and its sister lodge Taita Hills Safari Resort & Spa inside Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary all on Full board," he added.
By the time of this publication, Odour had not responded to the offer.
He however helped the family positively identify Waeni who was murdered in Roysambu. He also carried out an autopsy on a chopped-off head which was discovered in Kiambaa, Kiambu county.
The results matched Waeni's DNA revealing that she was strangled before being dismembered.
