High School students were left stranded after a huge fire razed down two dormitories at their school.
The fire which broke out at Masii High School in Machakos destroyed property of unknown value including students' items and other school assets.
From the videos shared online, the staff at Masii High School tried to extinguish the inferno but they were overpowered leading to damage.
By the time the firefighters arrived at the school, the dorms were completely burnt. However, the cause of the fire is yet to be established.

Reports alleged that although the school was closed, some students were left behind.
The school administration has not yet released a full report revealing the extent of the damage by the fire.
The police visited the scene of the fire and are also expected to help in determining the cause.
Cases of fire incidents in schools had however reduced in the country following the harsh punishment that the previous administration imposed.
Students found culpable were made to face the law and their parents were forced to pay for the damages.
