Nairobi Governor Johnson Sakaja has revealed that his administration will soon acquire a mobile recording studio for musicians and choirs.
Speaking on Thursday, April 4 during his State of the County address, Sakaja said the mobile studio will move across the county giving musicians and choirs an opportunity to record their songs.
The Nairobi county boss noted that the mobile recording studio will be on a forty-foot container.
“We will soon acquire our first mobile recording studio for our musicians and choirs. This mobile recording studio on a forty-foot container will move constituency to constituency, ward to ward so that our musicians, young people, and choirs can be able to record their art,” said Sakaja.

“The digital economy has a huge potential of being a lucrative economic frontier for our youth,” he added.
Sakaja further mentioned that his government is planning to set up 17 recording studios in each constituency in Nairobi.
The Nairobi Governor stated that the recording studios will be either in social halls or sub-county offices.
“We have also made proposals to have 17 recording studios in each and every constituency for our musicians to access either in our social halls or sub-county administrative offices,” Governor Sakaja stated.
