Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka on Thursday, May 30 convened a special National Executive Council (NEC) Meeting at the party headquarters in Nairobi.
In a statement via X, Kalonzo said the Wiper party welcomed the Kikuyu Council of Elders led by Chairman Wachira Wa Kiago to the party headquarters.
The meeting was also attended by Jubilee Party Secretary General Jeremiah Kioni and former Laikipia Governor Ndiritu Muriithi.
“We also welcomed organizers of the Limuru 3 Conference including Jubilee Party SG Jeremiah Kioni, former Laikipia Governor Ndiritu Muriithi, and lawyer Ndegwa Njiru. The Limuru 3 organisers presented the Resolutions which we wholeheartedly welcomed,” Kalonzo stated.

Addressing the media after the NEC meeting, Kalonzo declared his support for the one man one vote one shilling revenue sharing formula saying it would promote an equitable share of resources in the country.
“We are all united and part of the Limuru 3 resolutions that point out inclusivity and equitable sharing of resources so that a person's vote counts. Those who have been scared by the mantra one man one vote one shilling shouldn’t be scared,” said Kalonzo.
The former vice president also called for an increase of revenue allocation to counties up to 35 percent.
“Instead of talking about 20 percent, we will not beat the bush going forward so that the mantra one man one vote one shilling makes sense. We want resources devolved in the county up to 35 percent. If that happens no child will be denied the possibility of going to university,” Kalonzo added.
