Anti-finance bill protestors have set Nairobi County offices in City Hall Nairobi on fire.
A video seen by nairobi.co.ke, showed a fire and smoke coming out of the City Hall building.
This comes moments after protestors overpowered police officers and stormed the Parliament buildings.
The angry protestors set a section of the buildings on fire while others destroyed property in the Parliament offices.
The protestors also uprooted the national flag within Parliament precincts. MPs were forced to hide themselves at the Parliament basement.

Earlier MPs passed the Finance Bill, 2024 with 195 votes against 106 who opposed it. Lawmakers allied to the Azimio coalition left the parliament buildings after the voting and joined the anti-finance bill protestors to demonstrate in Nairobi CBD.
Thousands of protesters on Tuesday engaged in running battles with the police throughout the day, with security officers firing rubber bullets and tear gas to disperse the crowds.
The demos were witnessed in major towns and cities across the country including, in Mombasa, Nakuru, Nyeri, Eldoret, Kakamega, Kisii, and Narok counties.
Other areas were ; Kisumu, Kwale, Turkana, Thika, Murang’a, Bungoma and Makueni.
