Businessman Bundotich Zedekiah Kiprop, popularly known as Buzeki has hit out at the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party over its involvement in the United Democratic Alliance (UDA) party politics.
In an update on X on Friday, September 27, Buzeki advised ODM MPs to keep away from engaging in UDA's internal affairs and instead focus on serving Kenyans.
Further describing ODM as political scroungers, the businessman said by engaging in political theatrics, the party will make the situation go from bad to worse.
"Those like me who did not play a role in electing President Ruto should steer clear of UDA politics. Parliament must focus on easing the burden on Kenyans caused by unnecessary political theatrics that will not solve the current poverty that our people experience. ODM are audacious political scroungers. They are the reason our country will go from bad to worse," Buzeki wrote on X.

During the 2022 General Elections, Buzeki refused to join UDA stating he would run for the Uasin Gishu gubernatorial seat as an independent candidate.
He expressed that he would have considered supporting UDA if their agenda aligned with helping Kenyans.
“I have decided I will wait for all those battling in UDA so that they do what they are doing and then we meet in the premier league where I am fully prepared for the race,” Buzeki said.
Buzeki reiterated that no amount of pressure would change his decision, emphasizing his commitment to independent leadership and local issues over party affiliation.
On the other hand, Odinga's ODM party is now working with President Ruto's Kenya Kwanza government after four ODM lieutenants joined the Cabinet.
