The judiciary has announced a system outage affecting its online services.
The judiciary has announced that it is experiencing a system outage affecting its e-filing system, case tracking system (CTS) and causelist portal.
In a statement on Thursday, October 14, the Judiciary, however, maintained that its technical team was working around the clock to resolve the problem.
"We are experiencing a system intermittent outage on our e-filing, CTS and causelist systems. The technical team is working around the clock to ensure full system restoration," the judiciary remarked.
The Martha Koome-led arm of government gave an alternative for time-bound pleadings and applications under certificate of urgency which it said should be submitted through email.

“For applications under Certificate of urgency and time-bound pleadings, forward the same through the respective court stations’ email addresses and copy to [email protected] for processing.
"We apologise for the inconvenience caused and thank you for your patience and understanding," the judiciary stated.
The judiciary's e-filing system allows for cases to be filed digitally, while the causelist portal offers litigants and advocates a platform to access information on cases listed for the day.
In March, Chief Justice Martha Koome launched e-filing in all courts across the country, bringing to an end the traditional paper-based filing system.
The Chief Justice further directed that no court should print pleadings and documents from July 1, 2024.
