National Assembly Minority Whip Junet Mohamed has sent a message to President William Ruto after he detailed why he appears at many judicial functions.
In a tweet on Monday, December 5, Junet alleged that the swearing-in of Justice Aggrey Muchelule as the IEBC tribunal chairman gave clarity on his intentions.
The Suna East MP claimed that if the president clarified on his presence at the event, then it could be clear that he had not captured the judiciary.
"Your Excellency the one that gave clarity on what you are denying is the swearing of Justice Muchelule on Friday Night as the chairman of the IEBC tribunal. If that is clarified then you are yet to capture the Judiciary," Junet tweeted.
President Ruto on Monday, during the launch of the National Council on the Administration of Justice (NCAJ) annual report, said that he has never called anyone in the judiciary to ask them to do anything.

The Head of State maintained that he was supporting the judiciary to ensure that it delivers justice effectively to Kenyans.
"I know there’s a discussion as to why I appear in too many of the functions of the judiciary. They can confirm to you that I have never put a telephone call to anybody to ask them to do nothing. My support for the judiciary is so that they can effectively deliver justice to the people of Kenya," President Ruto said.
The Head of State appointed Justice Muchelule to chair the tribunal to probe the four dissenting IEBC commissioners; Juliana Cherera, Irene Masit, Francis Wanderi and Justus Nyang'aya.
The Judge was one of the six judges sworn-in as Court of Appeal judges in the presence of the President Ruto after being rejected by former President Uhuru Kenyatta.
