The Kenya Meteorological Department has disclosed that some parts of the central highlands, the central Rift Valley and South-eastern lowlands will experience cold conditions for the next seven days.
In its weather forecast report released on Tuesday. November 12, Kenya Met noted that nighttime temperatures in the region will go below 10°C.
"Expect cooler nights, with temperatures dropping below 10°C in parts of the Central Highlands, Central Rift Valley, and South-eastern lowlands," Kenya Met stated.
The central highlands consist of the counties of Nyandarua, Laikipia, Nyeri, Kirinyaga, Murang'a, Kiambu, Meru, Embu, Tharaka, and Nairobi.
The South-eastern lowlands include Kitui, Makueni, Machakos, Kajiado, and Taita Taveta counties.

However, the weatherman warned of daytime temperatures in some parts of the Coast, North-eastern and North-western regions.
"Warm conditions with daytime temperatures above 30°C are likely in the Coast, North-eastern, and North-western regions. Remember to stay cool and hydrated!" Kenya Met remarked.
In terms of rainfall, the department disclosed that rainfall is expected to continue in several parts of the country.
"Rainfall is expected to continue over the highlands East and West of the Rift Valley, the Lake Victoria Basin, the Rift Valley, the South-eastern lowlands, the Coast and North-eastern Kenya. Isolated heavy rainfall events may occur over some parts of these regions."
Kenya Met noted that in the last forecast period, rainfall was recorded in many parts of the country and daytime temperatures decreased over many regions, with only a few coastal stations recording marginal warming.
