The Energy and Petroleum Regulatory Authority (EPRA) has released its monthly fuel prices review report for the period between November 15 and December 15, 2024.
In the report released on Thursday, November 14, the regulatory agency said the prices of Super Petrol, Diesel and Kerosene will remain unchanged.
"In Nairobi, Super Petrol, Diesel, and Kerosene will continue to retail at Kshs.180.66, Kshs.168.06, and Kshs.151.39 for the next 30 days," EPRA said.
It added, "The prices are inclusive of the 16% Value Added Tax (VAT) in line with the provisions of the Finance Act 2023, the Tax Laws (Amendment) Act 2020, and the revised rates for excise duty adjusted for inflation as per Legal Notice No. 194 of 2020."
In its October report, EPRA announced new prices for Super Petrol, Diesel, and Kerosene.

EPRA said the price of Super Petrol per litre decreased by Ksh 8.18 while the prices of Diesel and Kerosene decreased by Ksh 3.54 and Ksh 6.93 respectively.
Additionally, the agency said Super Petrol will retail at Ksh 180.66, Diesel at Ksh 168.06, and Kerosene at Ksh 151.39 in Nairobi.
EPRA was established in 2019 under the Energy Act No. 1 of 2019, succeeding the Energy Regulatory Commission (ERC) in Kenya.
Its role includes regulating, licensing, and overseeing the electricity and petroleum sectors to ensure efficient, reliable, and affordable energy services.
EPRA also promotes renewable energy development and protects consumer interests within the energy market.
