Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka has called on Kenyans and the international community to reject President William Ruto's nationwide plan to vaccinate cows in the country.
During a press address on Friday, November 15, the Azimio leader claimed that the vaccination plan was part of a bigger agenda by multinational companies to introduce GMO meats to the market.
According to Kalonzo, the vaccines to be used in the nationwide exercise were procured from companies with interests in GMO foods.
He alleged that the vaccination was, therefore, an experiment aimed at taming the population of cows in the country.

Further, he warned that the exercise would have severe side effects on animals including the reproduction of animals with defects.
"We have been reliably informed by scientific authorities that these vaccines will alter the genetic structure of our animals. Reproduction of new life will be plagued by issues," he remarked.
"Let them know that we will resist this to the very end."
Kalonzo also stated that the plan would also target other animals such as sheep and goats.

According to Ruto, the move to vaccinate animals is aimed at dealing with diseases and boosting the export market.
The vaccination exercise is scheduled to be conducted next year.
“This will ensure we access both national and international markets for our livestock products,” he announced the Maa Cultural Festival.
