Kenyans on Twitter have called out economist David Ndii after his tweet on circumcision.
A tweep quoted Ndii asking him his opinion on Narok County possibly passing the BBI Bill which the economist has been against.
"So Narok county predominantly Luo has approved the BBI referendum bill. Where is @DavidNdii Rolling," the tweet read.
But his tweet raffled Ndii who responded by taking a jab at communities that are not circumcised.
"There are many communities that don’t practice circumcision in Kenya, but have you asked yourself why you are the only ones we call ihîî?" he posed.

His response was met with criticism by Kenyans who called him out for his comments with some questioning if his account was hacked.
Tweets against Ndii
This is the basest I have witnessed @DavidNdii. It is the lowest he has sunk. I am disappointed that political opinions would leave a globally reputed economist bereft of his dignity to this point. From Ndii, this statement is sad and awful. https://t.co/sp60xcFX1W

David Ndii must be reminded that all& any issues Luo 'penal forehead', if any, should and must remain the singular province of his Gikuyu sisters to talk about- not him. We are not opposed to Kikuyu ladies alone, giving opinion on this-not Ndii. Not his corner.

Utter balderdash!
1. David Ndii wants everyone to know he is an intellectual ... A Tiger doesn’t proclaim his tigritude but pounces! .. He is the leader of Linda Katiba .. He is Chief Adviser to the Deputy President .. Yet, he looks down on Nations that don’t circumcise which is whole of America ,

If David Ndii can tweet that, sasa imagine mtu wa boda boda mtaani? We have a very long way to go as a country..

This tweet by Ndii is wrong and hateful to an entire community. Ethnic stereotypes have no place in the struggle to liberate Kenya from bad leadership. I hope Ndii will realise his mistake, delete the offending tweet and apologise. https://t.co/My3HNhIO74

For one to consider the cut so important to discriminate other communities shows how shallo you can be Ndii.

The circumcision discussion lead by an intellect in the name of David Ndii is not only uncalled for and unfortunate but also equals circumstantial thinking. The BBI isn't a Luo document.

Why insult a whole community to prove a point... This is proof that tribalism is deeply rooted amongst a lot of people in Kenya.. So sad this came from a person like Ndii

David Ndii has been reduced to Foreskin Politics.

If Dr.Ndii is an 'closeted ethnic bigot' for his below the belt attack on Luos then you should also be accused for being a male chauvinist for recently claiming that Aisha Jumwa wad too ugly to be raped. https://t.co/onk5VFOfeq

David Ndii should focus on being an Economist and Linda Katiba ambassador. Hii maneno ingine itamletea tu shida in this rotten politically polarized society. I still respect him though @DavidNdii

It's stupid to have a clear minded man in David Ndii to degenerate to a hate monger with all the respect he commands.this us a clear sign of lost brilliant minds to polarise politics of tangatanga

Someone tell David Ndii that his obsession with uncircumcised men is worrying. Please may he also be reminded that the BBI isn't a Luo document.
