The Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) has issued new guidelines ahead of the party's grassroots elections on November 27.
In a statement on Monday, November 18, ODM announced that the ongoing registration of members will be temporarily suspended on November 20 to facilitate the preparation of the voter register.
"That party supporters and members are encouraged to use the remaining days to register and verify their membership details by dialing *483*036# or visiting www.odmmembership.com," ODM stated.
The party further noted that all party members will be required to avail themselves in their respective polling centres on Monday, November 25, to elect presiding officers who will oversee the polls.
At the same time, the Raila Odinga-led party noted that members contesting for positions are required to pay Ksh100 to the presiding officer.

"In accordance with the Party Election & Nomination Rules, members who are interested in contesting for the stated Polling Unit Official positions shall pay a non-refundable fee of Ksh100 to the Presiding Officer on the morning of 27th November 2024, before 10:00 a.m., upon which a receipt will be issued," the party remarked.
ODM stated that the polls will take place in all gazetted polling centers across the country and during the elections, 30 officials will be elected in each polling unit, with 10 officials chosen from each of the following committees: the Steering Committee, the Women League, and the Youth League.
The party also disclosed that any candidate who will be dissatisfied with the election results can appeal by lodging a complaint and paying a fee of Ksh3,000 24 hours after the declaration of results.
"The fees must be paid via the party's paybill no. 985900; account: Appeals Fee," the party explained.
ODM encouraged its members to read and acquaint themselves with the guidelines of the elections and engage the party's National Elections Coordinating Committee (NECC) for any clarifications through the email [email protected].
