Some 226 people have tested positive for the coronavirus bringing the country's caseload to 103,841.
In a statement, Health CS Mutahi Kagwe confirmed that this was from a sample size of 4,606. The cumulative tests stand at 1,258, 624.
deaths resulting from the virus have risen to 1,813 after another six patients succumbed to the disease.
Kagwe said that there are 333 patients currently admitted in various hospitals across the country. Another, 1,150 patients are on the home-based care program.
A total of 49 patients are in ICU, out of which 21 are on ventilatory support.

Furthermore, nine patients are separately on supplementary oxygen, out of which eight are in general wards and one in the HDU.
At the same time, about 75 patients have recovered from the disease out of which 49 were from the home-based care program while 26 were discharged from various health facilities.
Kenya's recoveries now stand at 85,512.
From the new cases reported on Friday, 165 are Kenyans while 61 are foreigners. In terms of gender, 132 are males while 94 are females and the youngest is a two -year-old child and the oldest is 98.
Nairobi leads with 142 cases, Kiambu 16, Nakuru 14, Machakos and Usin Gishu with nine each, Laikipia six, Mombasa five, Meru and Nyeri with three.
Counties with two cases are Bomet, Elgeyo Marakwet, Garissa, Kajiado, Kilifi, Kwale and Turkana, while Narok, Nyamira, Trans Nzoia, Kakamega and Kericho have one case each.
