A source close to ODM party leader Raila Odinga has revealed the seasoned politician's plans ahead of 2022 general polls.
This comes at a time Raila has kept many guessing on whether he will be on the ballot in 2022 or not.
The source, who spoke on the grounds of anonymity, said Raila has not even revealed his intentions to his close allies but is keen on forming a winning team.
According to the insider, Raila is courting Kivutha Kibwana and Mukhisa Kituyi to be part of his winning team.
"Boss (Raila) is keen on bringing on board a team that is untainted by baggage of current and past regimes, which the party has been fighting to correct. That is why he is trying to bring like-minded leaders like Kibwana and Kituyi, who are known to have fought for the second liberation, to his fold," the source said.

The source further adds that Raila is seeking to change the narrative from the past elections when he ran on the platform of change.
However, his opponent took a swipe at him, stating he was surrounded by individuals who are not reformists.
The ODM leader is also changing his campaign strategy by not attacking the Jubilee Party collectively. The leader has focused on Deputy President William Ruto as the main failure in the government.
According to Raila, Ruto has been derailing the government development agenda by launching early campaigns.
Political analysts, however, believe Raila will be on the ballot to face Ruto.
This comes when former NASA co-principals led by Kalonzo Musyoka, Moses Wetangula, and Musalia Mudavadi has called on Raila to endorse them.
Raila has, however, dismissed the endorsement talks stating that the three leaders abandoned him during his hour of need.
