Murang’a County Public Service Board has opened applications for 46 internship positions in various fields. 

The internship program includes positions for General Interns (11 posts), Communication & Media Interns (3 posts) and Youth Polytechnic Instructors Interns (7 posts).

Other positions are ECDE Caregivers Interns (10 posts), Medical Laboratory Technologist Interns (10 posts), ICT Interns (3 posts), a Supply Chain Management Intern (1 post) and an Automotive Engineering Intern (1 post).  

To qualify for this program, applicants must be Kenyan citizens aged 45 years or younger. 

Candidates should have graduated from a recognized institution with a relevant degree within the past 24 months and must provide proof of their academic achievements, including transcripts and certificates.

Additionally, applicants must not have participated in a similar internship program or gained work experience in their area of study since graduation. 

They should also not have been in formal employment, and applications must include endorsements from the candidate’s university or college, along with reference letters.

The application deadline is set for January 28, 2025.

Interested candidates can apply by visiting the official Murang’a County website at www.muranga.go.ke to access detailed vacancy information. 

All applications must be submitted online via apply.muranga.go.ke, as submissions through other means will not be accepted. 

Applicants are required to scan and upload all necessary documents, including academic transcripts, certificates, and recommendation letters.

"It is important to note that incomplete applications will not be considered," the county said.

"Applicants from other counties are encouraged to apply; however, priority will be given to residents of Murang’a County."

Shortlisted candidates will be required to present original identification documents, academic certificates and professional testimonials during the interview process.
