The National Youth Service (NYS) has announced opportunities for its graduates to work in Israel, offering competitive salaries and a chance to work abroad for up to 5 years.
Jobs offering a basic salary of Ksh 350,000 include Civil Engineers or Civil Foremen, with 10 positions available.
Additionally, 8 positions are open for Foremen in Carpentry, another 8 for Foremen in Steel Fixing, 6 for Foremen in Plastering, and 5 for Foremen in Masonry.
For jobs offering a basic salary of Ksh 250,000, there are 80 openings for Construction Carpenters, another 80 for Steel Fixers, 50 for Plasterer,s and 50 for Tile Masons.
Furthermore, 40 positions are available for Heavy Machinery Operators, 20 for Electricians and 30 for Plumbers.

Successful candidates will be employed for a maximum of 63 months, and they will work six days a week, with Sunday to Thursday being full workdays and Friday a half day.
Saturdays are designated as rest days.
Workers will be required to complete up to 12 hours on a full day and 8 hours on a half day, ensuring at least 236 guaranteed hours per month.
The basic hourly wage is 32.30 New Israeli Shekels (NIS), with overtime paid at 125% to 150% of the basic wage depending on the hours worked beyond the guaranteed time.
The benefits provided to workers include housing, medical insurance, and transportation, all subject to deductions as per Israeli labor laws.
Severance pay, retirement fund contributions, paid leave, and sick leave are also offered.
In addition, the company will supply personal and work equipment as well as height and safety training.
However, candidates will be responsible for bearing the cost of travel, visa processing, pre-departure training, and medical examinations.
