Kabando Wa Kabando has revealed his intentions to contest for a senatorial seat in the 2027 General Election.
In a statement on Thursday, February 20, Kabando expressed his interest in representing Nyeri County residents in the county.
He added that he would be naming the political party to vie on in the coming days.
"We're now past 50% of the current electoral cycle. I purpose to vie for the seat of Nyeri Senator on the platform of accountability charter," he stated.

On the other hand, he maintained that he was keen on working with a political party that would have values being championed by the Gen Zs.
Kabando added that he had a detest for corruption and President William Ruto.
"When that time comes, yours truly will swear a pledge for leadership integrity, to fight corruption and promote good governance, accountability, and transparency," he added.
"And, that means never to engage in corruption. To always put the people's welfare first."
In 2022, Kabando vied for the Nyeri Senatorial seat under the Narc-Kenya Party which has rebranded to the People's Liberation Party. He lost to Wamatangi Wahome of UDA.
