Jesus Winner Ministry church has clarified that it is yet to receive President William Ruto's Ksh20 million donation.
Addressing the media on Thursday, March 6, the church secretary, Raphael Mweti, noted that Ruto's donation was a pledge.
The church official added that Ruto made the donation following a request by their pastor. He also indicated that the Head of State had on many occasions supported the church previously.
"We wish to clarify that Ruto has been a faithful worshipper since 2009. The President's pledge is a support of Ksh20 million, following a request made by our general overseer Edward Mwai," Mweti stated.

Meanwhile, the church maintained that the land mentioned by Ruto during the Sunday service belonged to the church and was bought from Uchumi Supermarket.
According to the church, the land was bought from Uchumi Supermarket, adding that Parliament investigated the land tussle it had with KDF and established that the land belonged to the church.
"I have seen lawyers say that the church was given KDF land. The Pastor himself made a request to the President. The PS for Land and that of Defence came with government surveyors, and the land was subdivided," the secretary clarified.
"If you go there right now, you will find a wall between our land and that of KDF."
