JKIA and Moi International Airport have been awarded the much coveted "Best Airport by Size and Region" award for their exemplary customer service in 2020.

Nairobi's Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) and Moi International Airport, Mombasa, have been feted as the best in Africa by Airports Council International.

The two airfields won the much-coveted "Best Airport by Size and Region" award for their exemplary customer service.

JKIA was named 2020's Best Airport by Size and Region for the category of airports handling between 5 to 15 million passengers per year.

Moi International Airport on the other hand was feted 2020's Best Airport by Size and Region in the category of airports handling below 2 million passengers per annum.

The awards were based o ACI's Airports Quality Service (ASQ) survey conducted over the course of 2020.

ASQ is a global leader in the measurement or evaluation of customer experiences and benchmarking.

The awards come at the back of global recognition of Kenya Airports Authority for the exemplary customer service offered in 2020.

On February 7, KAA was the recipient of international acclaim for its efforts in ensuring continued improvement in customer services in all airports within the country.

The fete which was presented by ACI-the voice of world airports was awarded to airports committed to ensuring top-notch customer services for their clients through the course of the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020.

JKIA and Moi International Airport have participated in the program for over 10 years.
