The County Government of Nyeri has announced job opportunities for qualified individuals across various departments. 

In an advertisement issued by the County Public Service Board, the county seeks to recruit professionals in the health, transport, lands and education sectors. 

In the Department of Health Services, the available positions include Radiographer II with two posts, Medical Engineering Technologist (1), Medical Engineer (1), Pharmaceutical Technologist (2), Mortuary Attendant (1) and Orthopedic Trauma Technician II with two posts.

Others are Registered Clinical Officer I (Anesthetist) with three posts, Registered Nurse I (Peri-Operative) with four posts and Medical Officer with four posts.  

In the Department of Transport, Public Works, Infrastructure and Energy, the advertised positions include Assistant Engineer II (Structural) with one post, Assistant Engineer II (Mechanical) (1), Building Inspector (2), Road Inspector (2), Inspector Fire Services (1) and Electrical Technician with two posts.

The Department of Lands, Physical Planning and Urban Development has openings for Support Staff with fifteen posts available.

Meanwhile, in the Department of Education and Devolution, there are three available positions for Principal Education Officer.

Interested candidates are required to submit a hard copy of the duly filled Employment Form along with copies of all academic and professional certificates. 

The documents should be sent or hand-delivered to The Secretary, Nyeri County Public Service Board, P.O. BOX 90-10100, Nyeri. The deadline for applications is April 3, 2025 at 5PM.

The Board noted that all official communication from the County Public Service Board will be via the provided address and telephone number. 

It added that the recruitment process is free, and any requests for payment should be reported immediately. 

The Board encouraged applications from youth, women, and persons with disabilities, adding that only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
