President William Ruto was among the dignitaries who attended the wedding of National Assembly Speaker Moses Wetang'ula's daughter.

In the event held on Friday, April 18, Tamara Wetang'ula tied the knot with Antony Njoroge in the presence of their friends and family.

Environment CS Deborah Barasa and Tourism CS Rebecca Miano were among the CSs who graced the wedding.

Members of Parliament and Senators across the political divide, including Suba North MP Millie Odhiambo, also attended the wedding.

In his message to the newly Weds, Wetang'ula noted they were making a major milestone in life.

He expressed that the wedding had united two families while wishing the two love birds well.

Additionally, he thanked Ruto for honouring the invitation of his family by gracing the occasion.

"This Easter remains a memorable one for my family, as we witness our daughter take the next step of commitment to love," he stated.

"Today, we witness not just the union of two families, but a further strengthening of the social fabric and the bonds between communities. To HE President William Ruto, thank you for honouring our family and gracing the occasion."
