The officers were caught on camera breaking into the bar at night. They were accused of stealing money and other valuables.

The five officers were dressed in administrative police uniform while one was in regular police uniform.
“I do not understand why those who are supposed to protect our businesses turn out to be the thieves," Mwangi told journalists.
"I have all the documents one is required to have in order to run a bar and restaurant business. My employees and I also have all documents showing that we took the Covid-19 test and we followed the stipulated protocols,” he added.
He called on the police force to hold the officers involved accountable.
Kayole Division OCPD, Paul Wambugu said that he had not received a formal complaint about the incident.
“I urge the owner of the affected business to file a formal complaint so that action can be taken against those police officers,” Wambugu stated.
