The ODM part is in mourning following the death of its Narok region’s party secretary Dennis Naisho who passed on after a short illness.
While announcing Naisho’s death, ODM national deputy vice chair Christine Lemein noted that the deceased had been receiving treatment at a Nairobi hospital before he passed away.
According to Lemein, Naisho was admitted a few days ago, but unfortunately succumbed to his illness.
Lemein eulogised Naisho as a dedicated and loyal leader who served the party with all his heart.

Naisho’s death comes less than a year after the death of former Narok County ODM chair Charles Nabasho.
Meanwhile, the ODM party recently conducted mass membership registration in readiness for grassroot elections later this year.
The grassroot elections will be used to elect officials who’ll popularize and push the ODM agenda across the country.
The ODM party is keen to solidify its support bas ahead of the 2022 General Election. Over the past few years, the party has appeared to lose it grip in some of its perceived strongholds like the Coastal region and parts of Western Kenya.
In the Msambweni by-election, the party was humiliated by an Independent candidate despite the constituency being a perceived ODM turf.
