7 roads within Nairobi are set to experience partial traffic disruptions following the scheduled Mater Heart Run 2025.
In a statement dated Saturday, May 25, the organisers of the run listed various roads, including those in the CBD such as the City Walk Way.
Given that the race begins at KICC, the runners will use City Hall Way, Uhuru Highway, Haile Selassie Avenue, Ragati Road and Hospital Road.
The runners also expected to use Elgon Road, Upper Hill Road and Bunyala Road.

"Mater Heart Run 2025 will take place on 31st May 2025, starting from the KICC at 7 am, with partial traffic interruptions expected along key Nairobi roads," read the notice in part.
Therefore, motorists planning to use the roads were advised to be extra cautious owing to the increased activity.
Alternatively, motorists can opt to use other roads during the day to avoid being caught up in traffic.
The run is also expected to be conducted in 9 other counties on Saturday.
The counties include Kisumu, Kakamega, Machakos, Mombasa, Kericho, Nakuru, Nyeri, Bomet, and Uasin Gishu.
The Mater Heart Run is an initiative that was launched to help raise funds to support heart surgeries for children who face challenges in meeting the expensive costs related to the procedures.
"Mater Heart Run, a powerful legacy that began in 1995, has screened 155,047 children across Kenya, performed 2,295 heart surgeries, and conducted 3,389 cardiac intervention procedures," the organisers announced.
