VFS Global on Friday, June 6, announced new guidelines for Kenyans who are planning on visiting their application centres in Kenya for the UK visas.
One of the advisories issued was on arrival time at the application centers, with Kenyans being encouraged not to arrive at the centers earlier than 15 minutes before the appointment time.
According to the service provider, the move will ensure that there is no crowding at the application centers.
"Customers visiting the centres to collect their passports are requested to visit the centre only during the stipulated passport collection hours or opt for the courier return service for delivery of passports to their registered address," read the statement in part.

For security purposes, VFS Global announced that the centers would only be accessed by visa customers.
"Children under 16 years must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Please note that this cannot be a member of the Visa Application Centre staff," read the guidelines in part.
"Elderly, medically infirm, or disabled customers who require assistance to submit their applications. These customers should inform security staff upon arrival at the Visa Application Centre."
Additionally, the service provider indicated that parking would be extended to the customers on a first-come, first-served basis.
"Owing to an unprecedented demand for UK visas this year, please note that our team is working towards creating a more comfortable customer journey for travellers on priority. This includes expanding our present waiting area facilities," read the statement in part.
"We urge customers visiting our centre to adhere to the directives laid out by the City Council & the local law enforcement authorities. Kindly refrain from parking on the road or disrupting the flow of traffic for the convenience of our customers."
All these regulations will apply to the VFS offices in Nairobi and Mombasa.
