This comes a week after the Ministry of Diaspora and Foreign Affairs has issued an advisory to all Kenyans residing in Israel and Iran amid the ongoing conflict between the two countries.

In a statement on Wednesday, June 18, Diaspora Affairs Principal Secretary Roseline Njogu affirmed the government's commitment to protecting its citizens abroad.

"The safety and well-being of Kenyans abroad remain our utmost priority as the situation in the Middle East continues to evolve," she said.

The advisory urged all Kenyans currently in Israel and Iran to exercise extreme caution and avoid all non-essential movement.

It also calls on them to closely monitor local media and security alerts, obey instructions issued by local authorities, and remain prepared for any emergency by keeping vital documents and emergency supplies easily accessible.
