The Kenya Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (Kenya-AIST) has announced 14 vacancies in the institution.

In a notice on Tuesday, July 1, Kenya-AIST invited qualified and interested Kenyans to apply for the vacant positions.

“The Kenya-AIST is seeking competent and self-motivated individuals with high aspirations, the expertise, and experience needed to contribute to the Institute's growth and development. Successful applicants will join a community of researchers and innovators and play a significant role in the future of Kenya-AIST,” read the notice in part.

The vacancies include: Assistant Director, Finance and Accounts, Senior Administration Officer I, Senior Administration Officer II, Administration Officer I, Administration Officer II, Senior Librarian II, and Librarian I.

The institution also wants to fill the positions of Senior ICT Officer II, ICT Officer I, Records Management Officer II, Senior Security Officer II, and Security Officer.

How to apply

Interested candidates are required to submit their applications through the Kenya-AIST online recruitment portal: https://recruitment.kenya-aist.ac.ke/.

“Each application shall be accompanied by a detailed curriculum vitae, copies of academic and professional certificates, a national identity card or passport, two letters of reference, one of which should be from a former supervisor, and other relevant supporting documents,” Kenya-AIST stated.

Successful applicants will be required to provide clearance from the Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA), the Higher Education Loans Board (HELB), the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC), and a Certificate of Good Conduct from the Criminal Investigation Department.
