The Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC) has advised applicants facing challenges in applying for courses to visit designated campuses across the country for support.
In a notice on Monday, July 7, KMTC stated that officers from the Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) have been deployed to select campuses to offer guidance and support ahead of the application deadline set for today.
“Applicants who need support or guidance should visit the following KMTC campuses for assistance by KUCCPS officers,” the notice read in part.
The campuses include: the Burnt Forest Campus, Gatundu Campus, Homa Bay - Mbita Satellite Campus, Imenti Campus, Isiolo Campus, Iten Campus, Kakamega - Ikolomani Campus, Kapkatet Campus, Karen - Nairobi Campus, Kerio Valley Campus, Kilifi Campus, and Kitui - Mutomo Campus.
Others are; Kuria Campus, Lamu Campus, Loitokitok Campus, Lugari Campus, Machakos Campus, Makueni - Mbuvo Campus, Manza Campus, Mbooni Campus, Meru Campus, Migori Campus and Nakuru Campus.

Applicants can also visit the Nyamache Campus, Nyamira Campus, Rera Campus, Siaya Campus, Ugenya Campus, Vihiga Campus, and Yatta Campus for assistance.
The notice comes days after Education Cabinet Secretary Julius Ogamba revealed that many of the KCSE 2024 candidates applied to join KMTC.
Speaking on Tuesday, July 1, CS Ogamba revealed that there was a high demand for courses in nursing especially in Clinical Medicine and Surgery, Medical Emergency Technician, and Community Health.
"With a cumulative of 2,986, Diploma and Certificate in Nursing attracted the highest number of applicants at 27,000. This is an indication that the demand for nursing continues to grow," the CS announced.
