The Kenya Urban Roads Authority (KURA) has announced a temporary traffic disruption along Jogoo Road and Nyasa Road.

In a public notice on Monday, July 14, KURA announced that traffic disruption along the two roads will begin at 10:00 PM on Friday, July 18, 2025, and continue until 11:00 PM on Monday, July 21, 2025.

The agency said that the temporary closure is intended to facilitate the installation of a culvert as part of ongoing infrastructure improvements along the two roads.

“Kenya Urban Roads Authority seeks to inform the general public of a temporary traffic disruption along Jogoo Road and Nyasa Road from 10:00 PM on Friday, 18th July 2025, to 11:00 PM on Monday, 21st July 2025.

“This interruption is necessary to facilitate culvert installation works,” read the KURA notice in part.

The authority urged motorists to exercise caution and adhere to road signs while driving on the two roads during the period.

KURA also confirmed that traffic police and marshals will be deployed to ensure a smooth flow of traffic.

Further, KURA apologized for any inconvenience that may be caused by the traffic disruption on Jogoo and Nyasa roads.

“Motorists are advised to exercise caution when approaching the affected section and to follow all road signs provided. Police officers and traffic marshals will be on site to ensure a smooth flow of traffic,” KURA added.
