HELB's update comes as the institution continues to enhance accessibility to its services nationwide.
On July 30, the board released a list of Huduma Centres serving HELB needs, making it easier for students to access loan services in person.
The centres include Nairobi-GPO, Machakos, Mombasa, Nakuru, Eldoret, Kisumu, Kakamega, Kisii, Nyeri, Embu, Kitui, and Bungoma.
Others are: Lodwar, Meru, Thika, Kitale, Kericho, Nandi, Murang'a, Garissa, Narok, Migori, Chuka, Kilifi, Taita Taveta, West Pokot, Bomet, and Makueni.

The board has partnered with cyber cafes at additional Huduma Centres to provide online application support and document upload assistance.
For convenience, HELB maintains a mobile application available on both the Google Play Store and the Apple Store, allowing students to complete their loan applications using their smartphones.
Further, in efforts to expand the field of loan beneficiaries, HELB announced on August 13 that it had partnered with the Ministry of Public Service to introduce a new loan for the National Government, County Governments, National Police Service, and Teachers Service Commission (TSC).
"A study loan of up to Ksh500,000 at just 4% per annum! Are you a Civil Servant in the Ministries, County Government, or National Police Service? Apply for the Civil Servants Training Revolving Fund (TRF) today at hef.co.ke,'" HELB said.
