Education Cabinet Secretary George Magoha has warned University students against impersonating secondary school students to aid in exam cheating.
The warning by the CS comes days before the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) exams kick off on Monday, March 29, 2021.
Magoha noted that there are some unscrupulous learning institutions in the country that are looking to collaborate with varsity students and have them impersonate candidates.
The CS issued the warning while he supervised the completion of KCPE exams on March 24, in Busia County.

Magoha warned that the Ministry is on high alert and monitoring schools in Kisii, Homa Bay, Migori, and Isebania where such schemes have been suspected.
He assured that the Ministry will ensure the integrity of the national examinations is upheld.
Magoha alleged that centres planning to use varsity students to cheat in the exams have distorted the student photographs as to aid the vice.
He sounded a warning to teachers in the suspect regions against misguiding learners.
"We are following up with the cheeky centre managers plus their collaborators who intend to steal the exams," Magoha stated.
The CS urged learner to not be afraid of the exams as marking will be considerate of the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic on learning.
