According to the Board, Mwasi, a seasoned Media Strategy and Innovation Consultant, brings with him three decades of experience spanning publishing, design, governance, and digital transformation.

"Edward currently serves as a Media Strategy and Innovation Consultant at the Center for Business Innovation & Training (CBIT). Previously, he served as the CEO, Kenya Yearbook Editorial Board (KYEB). The Board and Management takes this opportunity to thank Mr. Sigei, Ms. Muthui and Mr. Otundo for their sustained and exemplary contribution to The Standard Group PLC and wish them the very best for the future," the notice concluded.

The new changes come months after Standard Group announced the appointment of Chaacha Mwita as the Acting Group Chief Executive Officer.

In an announcement on Wednesday, July 2, the company said the appointment followed the resignation of Marion Gathoga Mwangi, who exited the role on Monday, June 30.
