Rongo University has announced 35 administrative and academic positions in the institution.
In a notice on Tuesday, September 16, the university invited qualified candidates to apply for the positions.
The administrative positions include: Registrar Academic Affairs, Registrar Administration and Planning, Deputy Registrar Administration and Planning Grade, Deputy Registrar Academic Affairs, Deputy Dean of Students, Deputy University Librarian, and Deputy Finance Officer.
Others are: Farm Manager, Braille Transcriber Technician, Administrative Assistant II, Corporate Communications Assistant, Assistant Technician I, and Auxiliary Staff.
The academic vacancies include lectures in: Political Science, French, Hotel and Hospitality Management, Special Needs Education – Visual Impairment, Special Needs Education – Hearing Impairment, Pure Mathematics, International Relations, Chemistry (Organic/Physical), Geography with Mining and Information Technology.

Rongo University also has lecturer positions for the Economics, Literature, Physical Education/Sports Science, Science Methods (Biology/Chemistry/ Physics/Mathematics), and Technology Education – Computer courses.
The institution is also seeking to fill the Tutorial Fellow positions in Education Management and Policy, Human Resource Management, and Health Records/Health Systems.
How to Apply
Applicants are required to submit 10 copies of their applications containing copies of the application letters, updated Curriculum Vitae, academic and professional qualifications, including transcripts, work experience, and other relevant certificates and testimonials.
The university said the reference number of the position applied for must be indicated on the application letter and the envelope.
The applications should be addressed to the Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Administration, Finance & Planning, P.O. Box 103-40404 Rongo.
"Applicants are advised to contact their referees and request them to send reference letters to the above address in sealed envelopes.
"For further details and job requirements of the positions, please visit the Rongo University website www.rongovarsity.ac.ke/vacancies,” the notice stated.
The deadline for the applications is September 30, 2025, at 5:00 PM.
Further, Rongo University said only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for interviews, and any form of canvassing will lead to automatic disqualification.
