Chaotic Scenes At Raila's Teso Event As Man Attacks Malaba Police Boss

Drama ensued at the KMTC Teso campus where ODM leader Raila Odinga was scheduled for an event after a man tried to attack the Malaba OCS.

THe man is said to have tried to gain access at the facility but was blocked by the OCS who was at the gate.

Raila had not arrived at the facility.

The man, seemingly the ODM leader supporter, resorted to attacking the OCS in a bid to gain access to the facility.

He is said to have wanted to meet the ODM leader Raila Odinga to present his personal grievances.

According to a report by the Star, the man shouted he wanted to meet the ODM leader.

The drama led to the man being arrested and put in custody.

The ODM leader was to visit the facility after which he will address residents of Teso South and North.

In the same venue, a skirmish was reported after the PM's security also had a confrontation with the police.

Raila is set to lay the stone for the construction of the KMTC dormitory in the area.

He will then fly to Chagara, at the border of Busia and Bungoma, where he will address the first public rally.
